Privacy Policy

Short version: we collect very little, we sell nothing, and you can opt out of the analytics.

What is collected

Visiting a page produces the usual server record: the page requested, the time, a browser and device identifier, an approximate location derived from your network, and the site that referred you. This is standard web-server behaviour and is used to understand which entries get read.

If you email us, we hold that email — your address and whatever you wrote — for as long as it takes to deal with the matter, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case the thread resumes.

What is not collected

There are no accounts, so there are no passwords. There is no newsletter sign-up, no payment processing, no booking form and therefore no payment or travel-document data anywhere on this site.

We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not run third-party ad trackers on these pages.

Selling and sharing

Your data is not sold, rented, traded or handed to data brokers. It is shared only with the hosting and analytics providers that make the site run, and only to the extent those services need in order to function.

Cookies and opting out

Any cookie set here is either strictly necessary or analytics-related. Blocking cookies in your browser, or switching on a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, will not break the site — every page is readable without them.

To have an email exchange deleted from our records, or to ask what we hold about you, write to editor@nzonlinesocial.com and we will action it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version appears on this page. Material changes will be noted at the top.
